Livermon Park & Mini-Zoo

Where else in eastern North Carolina can you find buffaloes, llamas, peacocks, alpacas, long horn sheep, ostriches and emus? And that's not all! Many more animals are available for viewing. Picnic pavilions are available, public restroom facilities are on-site, and plenty of playground equipment is on-hand. The best part? It's all free!

Don't forget to checkout the Cashie Wetland Walk. The wetlands walk is a boardwalk trail through a portion of the Cashie Wetlands. Many species of plants are labeled and visitors can learn the importance wetlands play to the environment.

Canoes, paddles and life vests are available for use at no charge.
